The Forest Course
Close by Rennes, capital of Brittany, you will discover a domain with a lot of charm. The domain of La Freslonnière represents a history of more than 700 years. The castle is still occupied since his origin (XIIIth century) by the same family, Les Freslons. The golf is created in the 80’s and spreads over 148 acres of the castles park, designed in the heart of the centenary forest that surrounds the domain.
The clumbs of Rhododendron bushes and wonderful varieties of trees make it a delightful course well sheltered from the wind.
The 72 par course is 6179 yards long with omnipresent greenery and many water hazards spread subtly every now and then. The forest course does not show any big difficulty, however it is important to know how to place the ball as well as to think one’s shots.
